How This Calculator Works

Clinical Dose Database

Every dose range in our database comes from peer-reviewed human clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses published in indexed medical journals. We do not use manufacturer-recommended doses or marketing claims.

Percentage Calculation

We compare your product's dose against the midpoint of the clinically studied range. A score of 100% means your supplement matches the typical research dose. Above 80% is generally considered adequate.

Color Ratings

Green (80%+): Adequate -- at or near clinical doses.
Yellow (40-79%): Borderline -- may provide some benefit but is below optimal.
Red (below 40%): Underdosed -- unlikely to provide meaningful effects based on research.
